Hello Tee, We're writing to let you know about an upcoming change to your Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) projects. On May 15, 2023 we'll automatically enable the Cloud DNS API to all GKE enabled projects. What do you need to know? To deliver an improved DNS experience with better scalability, reliability and performance, and tighter integration with Google Cloud services, Cloud DNS API will become a required dependency for upcoming capabilities in GKE. Please note that enabling Cloud DNS API will not cause any changes in your configuration settings or behavior of your GKE cluster, including all workloads running in the cluster, or additional costs. What do you need to do? No action is required on your part as Cloud DNS API will be automatically enabled. However, we recommend you ensure any tooling that automates the creation or management of Google Cloud projects or their APIs (e.g. Terraform) is configured so it doesn't disable the Cloud DNS API. If the Cloud DNS API is disabled it might cause non-functional GKE clusters in the future. Your projects listed below will have the Cloud DNS API enabled, starting May 15, 2023: We're here to help If you have any questions you can: - Review our FAQs to learn more about Cloud DNS API enabled.
